If you reside in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Laos, Malaysia, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Singapore, Suriname, Thailand, United States, Uruguay, or Vietnam, you are eligible to create a Facebook Dating profile.

This post will show you how to use the mobile app to access Facebook Dating.

How to Open Facebook Dating

1.      Open the Facebook App.

2.     Tap Dating.

This will be displayed next to the heart-shaped icon.

You must opt-in before using Facebook Dating if you don't already have a dating profile.

How to Create a Facebook Dating Profile?

1.              Open the Facebook App. Facebook Dating only accepts users who are at least 18 years old.

2.             Tap ☰. This can be seen in the screen's upper right corner.

3.             Tap Dating. This will be displayed next to the heart-shaped icon.

4.            To create a Facebook Dating profile, adhere to the directions shown on-screen.

You will provide information about yourself, such as your height, occupation, religion, etc.

Your Facebook albums will be used to recommend profile photographs in the app.

You can choose to accept or reject these recommendations but to proceed, you need to have more than one photo.

Only other Facebook users who have chosen to use Facebook Dating are suggested matches for you.

How to Use Facebook Dating?

1.              Open the Facebook App.

2.             Tap ☰. This can be seen in the screen's upper right corner.

3.             Tap Dating. This is displayed next to the heart-shaped icon. You'll see a card stack of prospective matches as soon as you open Facebook Dating, along with suggestions for matches from your Events and Groups. You can view your interactions and whether other Facebook Dating users have liked you at the top of your screen.

4.            To show interest, tap the heart or X icon. Tap the heart icon to send a like to a profile in the card stack if you're interested in them. Tap the X icon if you're not interested.

5.             To view more of the profile, tap the card with the profile's name on it.

If the card presentation piques your interest, you can tap it to acquire a complete, in-depth view of the profile.

You'll see the user's location, more images, and further information (like their height and religion).

You can also click the heart or X to indicate whether you're interested or not.

6.            Liked You on Tap (if you have outstanding likes).

Each of these profiles has looked at yours and indicated that they were interested.

7.             To show interest, tap the heart or X icon.

Tap the heart icon to send a like to a profile in the card stack if you're interested in them.

Tap the X icon if you're not interested.

How to Add a Secret Crush on Facebook Dating?

1.              First, launch the Facebook app.

2.             Tap ☰.

This will be seen in the top right corner of your screen.

3.             Tap Dating.

4.            Select Go for It. You'll find this in a purple card marked "Secret Crush" at the bottom of the main Facebook Dating page.

Your list of Secret Crushes can include up to 9 people who are Instagram followers and Facebook friends.

If they do not add both you and a Secret Crush, they won't be informed.

You must link your Instagram and Facebook Dating accounts to add Instagram friends.

5.             Select the addition (+) sign.

You can combine up to 9 Secret Crushes on the grid of 9 circles that you will see.

6.            Tap to include an Instagram follower or Facebook friend.

A notification that they have been added as a Secret Crush will only be sent to friends or followers who have also joined Facebook Dating; the person who added them will not be disclosed.

Only if your Instagram account and Facebook Dating account are linked can you add Instagram followers.

You will be requested to link those accounts if you press here without doing so first. To link the accounts, merely adhere to the on-screen directions.

7.             Find your Facebook or Instagram followers by doing a search.

Below the search field, you'll get options as you write their name or username.

8.            To add someone to your list of Secret Crushs, tap a suggestion.

You'll receive a notification if they add you to their Secret Crush list, and their profile will be added to yours.

Tap a profile on the grid and choose Remove to take it from your list of Secret Crush candidates.
